Former NXT champion Finn Balor has been teasing the WWE universe about his main roster debut. The latest rumors imply that he will be called up very soon and it could possibly be on an episode of Monday Night Raw.
Balor has one of the best wrestling gimmicks in the world and his entrance as The Demon character is one of the most charismatic entrances of all-time. He is also one of the best wrestlers not on the WWE main roster and he only makes appearances via the WWE Network.
Samoa Joe recently ended Balor's 292-day reign as NXT champion that created a lot of speculations about his future in the developmental. Losing the NXT championship may have signified the end of his run at Full Sail University.
Nonetheless, there are no concrete sources to prove that he will be called up to the main roster in the coming weeks. According to Cageside Seats, expect Balor's debut in the May 23 episode of Raw at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.
It is the night after the "Extreme Rules" event at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The main event of "Extreme Rules" will be a rematch of "Payback" match between Roman Reigns and A.J. Styles for the WWE World Heavyweight championship.
However, this match will be an Extreme Rules Match where there are no count-outs and no disqualifications. Balor is somewhat connected to the match since Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are expected to be involved in the match.
Anderson and Gallows are former members of the New Japan Pro Wrestling stable "Bullet Club" that was formed by Balor when he was still Prince Devitt. Styles is also a former leader of the group as he replaced Balor after he signed with the WWE in 2014.
There are many rumors saying that a version of the "Bullet Club" will be formed by Balor in the WWE. However, NJPW holds the rights to the name so his new stable will be known as the "Bulletproof Balor Club" with Anderson and Gallows as the other members.
Many of WWE's top brass including Vince McMahon and Triple H are high on Balor due to his charisma and Demon gimmick, as reported by Daily Wrestling News. It is noted that the WWE will be giving the Irish superstar a crazy push once he makes his main roster debut.
Many WWE fans are excited about it as some of the diehard fans are looking for someone to fill up the holes left by CM Punk's departure and Daniel Bryan's retirement. Check out the video below for Balor's captivating entrance as The Demon.
