The latest details for " Persona 5" will feature the possible western release date for the game, an E3 2016 appearance and information about its new characters.
Atlus announced that "Persona 5" will be available in stores on Sept 15. for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan along with a new trailer introducing several new characters, gameplay and its main plot.
Although, Atlus did not reveal the launch date of "Persona 5" in the west, it is speculated that the Japanese video game company will likely announce it in this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo since they have confirmed an appearance during the event. "Persona 5" could be out in the United States and Europe for about atleast four to six weeks witin October, GamingBolt reported.
In other news, Atlus revealed that new characters appearing in "Persona 5" joining the silent protagonist and his friends Ryuki Sakamoto, Ann Takamaki, Yusuke Kitagawa and the talking cat Morgana.
These characters are Makoto Niisshima, Futaba Sakura and Haru Okumura. Makoto Niishima is a third-year high school student who goes to the same school as the protagonist and a member of the school council. She is described as having an "irreproachable" conduct, a woman of action and having a strong sense of responsibility. Makoto is also overly serious and a straight-laced honor who will never compromises anything and her Persona is called Johana.
Futuba Sakura is a first-year student with supehuman computational and ingenius programming skills. Although a genius, she lacks skills in communicating and talking to her peers and became a shut-in to other people due to a certain incident. Her Persona is called Necronimicon.
Finally, Haru Okumura is a third-year student and the daughter of the President in a major restaurant company. Haru is described as elegant and naive girl with good communication skills. and often observant of people around her. Her Persona is called Milady, Gematsu reported.
Other characters joining "Persona 5" are Igor, Justine and Caroline. The game will have new features such as "Sneak" and "All-Out-Attack" skills, dangerous dungeons to explore and real world activities like going school, working in restaurants and riding the train.
In additon, Atlus announced an anime of the game called "Persona 5: Day Breakers" which will have its own separate storyline while linking certain events in "Persona 5's" storyline. There is also an "Anniversary" edition of "Persona 5" which features its art books, a five disk OST tracks, a DLC set with designer Shigenori Soejima's "picaresque arrangement" of personas and skills, another DLC sets with "Persona 3" and "Persona 4's" high school uniforms as thief outfits along with battle background music and singles, a special custom theme by Shigenori Soejima, and a deluxe game Art Treasure Box.
"Persona 5" will launch on Sept. 15 in Japan, while the western release of the game will be out sometime this year for the PS3 and PS4 consoles.
