"Supernatural" Season 11 is racing towards the finale but before that happens the Winchester brothers must tackle their darkest enemy The Darkness/Amara. The network has released official plot details for upcoming episode 22 (penultimate) "We Happy Few" teasing action-packed and eventful instalment.
According to Spoiler TV's description of "Supernatural" Season 11 episode 22, the final countdown begins as Sam and Dean will head out to stop the Darkness. It is said that the hunter pair will be taking on their "biggest challenge yet." What follows after, remains to be seen
In addition, "Supernatural" Season 11 penultimate episode will see the return of a prominent character. Ruth Connell's Rowena will be back. The powerful witch has a plan that she executes when she returns in the upcoming segment. Her daring move is bound to have repercussions that will be affecting others.
In the meantime, Chuck, who revealed himself as God in the previous episode, is back. It is said that Chuck is here to help Dean and Sam in their battle against Amara. Speaking to TV Line, "Supernatural" star Rob Benedict, the actor who plays the role of Chuck Shirley, talked about Chuck's role in Winchester brothers' fight.
"We all have the same goal - we want to try to stop her. We have different reasons for why, but ultimately, what we have to do is be on the same team and trust each other," Benedict said. "First on my plate as God is to get them to trust me, because I need them to be my boots on the ground, and we need to work together again. But I feel like there's always been a lot of love there between Chuck and the boys, and that's definitely highlighted in this next episode," he added.
