Kim Ji Won recently posed for the International BNT magazine and sat down for an interview to discuss her ideal type of man and her favorite scene in the KBS 2TV's massive pan-Asia hit drama "Descendants of the Sun." The actress revealed that Jin Goo's character, Sergeant Major SEO Dae Young, is now her perfect man.
"Being loved by Seo Dae Young was the best. Seo Dae Young, who made sacrifices for his one and only woman, is now my ideal type," Kim said, as obtained by All K-pop.
The 23-year-old actress went ahead to reveal that before the filming started, she was worried that her co-star Jin would feel uncomfortable working with an actress who is 12 years younger with him. However, Kim was wrong and gushed that the 35-year-old actor was actually the best on-screen partner she has ever had.
Further, Kim stated that Yoo Si Jin's (Song Joong Ki) famous line, "Then save him," was her favorite scene from the blockbuster drama. The actress stressed that she had just watched the said scene on television, stating that she was not on the set when the Song-Song couple was shooting it.
"The moment Yoo Si Jin was facing the soldiers and took out his in-ear was so amazing I even screamed," Kim added.
Kim, who was born in 1992, entered the entertainment industry in 2008 by acting in minor roles in several dramas, music videos, and commercials, and was firstly known when he played the chaebol heir Rachel Yoo in 2013's "The Heirs." The actress' groundbreaking portrayal in "Descendants of the Sun" have brought huge success in her acting career.
In fact, the actress said in a separate interview that she received so many indefinably valuable things - like the fans' love and support - after starring in the said mega-hit drama. She also gushed that the thing she is most grateful for meeting her sunbae's and colleagues, whom she worked with for more than seven months, Soompi reported.
When asked about her next work, the actress said that she had not decided yet on what her next project will be. Nonetheless, Kim stressed that her career goal for the year is to give her valiant effort regardless of what role she is playing. Check out the video below:
