"Reese protects an NYPD analyst who's drawn the attention of Samaritan through his investigation of a software glitch; and an ally of Elias threatens Reese and Fusco," reads the synopsis for the new episode.
Meanwhile, TVLine asked the cast members of the show questions by the readers.
When asked how "Person of Interest" Season 5 is different from Season 4, Amy Acker, who portrays Root, said that it is "dramatically different."
"There were some episodes that I got the script and literally thought, 'Are we on a different show?' There's one in particular - Episode 4 - that doesn't seem like Person of Interest at all, but people are saying it's one of the best episodes," the actress said.
Meanwhile, actor James Caviezel, who plays Reese, compared the final run to "Star Wars." He stated that it is "Empire Strikes Back" meets "Return of the Jedi."
Kevin Chapman talked about Fusco in the last season of the show. He stated that he goes rogue for a few instalments of Season 5.
"As you know, in the first four seasons he had no knowledge of the Machine, so he has a lot of unanswered questions that he wants to resolve - and he has the tendency to start his own little investigations," Chapman said.
Elsewhere, Shaw made a roaring comeback in "Person of Interest" Season 5, episode 4 titled "6,741."
