Incoming Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola is planning a double swoop on Real Madrid's Danny Carvajal and Toni Kroos in the summer as the exiting Bayern Munich boss wants to improve the Citizen's right back and midfielder positions in preparation for the new season.
Caught Offside reported that the 45-year-old Spanish manager, who is set to take over the reins of City from Manuel Pellegrini at the end of the season, is intending to begin his stint with the Etihad giants "with an ambitious double raid on Real Madrid".

In his three years back this time for the Spanish capital city club's A team, Carvajal appeared in a total of 116 games and had scored three times in the process.
Meanwhile, another Mirror article noted that Real is open to selling Kroos for more than £25 million ($36 million) this summer.
New Los Vikingos boss Zinedine Zidane is also allegedly planning a summer overhaul and the former Madrid player is looking at his midfield, particularly Kroos, to begin the transition.
The 26-year-old Greifswald, East Germany native was acquired by Real in the summer of 2014 from Guardiola's Bayern squad for an undisclosed transfer fee estimated to be around £19.5 million ($28.2 million).
