Brushing aside the rumors of their breakup, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were spotted indulging in some serious PDA as they enjoyed the sights and sounds of France on May 17, Tuesday. The rumored couple is spending the week together in the country amidst the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.
Despite the rumors that Bloom and Perry's relationship was hitting rocky waters, the two looked pretty much an item as they as they floated around on businessman Roman Abramovich's yacht Eclipse, with the singer sitting quite close to the hunky actor. The two were accompanied by actress and close friend friend Kate Hudson.
While Perry sported a bright blue playsuit with white stars printed on top, Bloom was seen covered up in beige trousers and a jacket as he showed off his glowing tan. The pair looked quite loved up as the singer was seen leaning against the actor's side while he kept an arm round her shoulders.
"They were very close, very smiley and seemed to be just one with one another," a source told People.
The group also grabbed lunch at La Colombe d'Or, a famous hotel not far from Cannes, along with model Kate Moss. The rumored couple continued their PDA with Bloom spotted nuzzling her neck with his eyes closed, as the 31-year-old singer laughed to her friends.
Later in the evening, the rumored couple grabbed a bite to eat at Michelangelo near the venue of the Cannes Film Festival. In contrast to their earlier behaviour, the two did their best to keep a low profile at the famous eatery and kept the PDA to a minimum while exiting the restaurant.
The public show of affection came just a week after Bloom was pictured hugging Selena Gomez while the two partied at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino's Light Nightclub, Las Vegas on May 6, soon after which the reports of their romance floated in the media. However, despite their flirty appearance that involved leg touching and talking closely, no one saw them kissing, Entertainment Tonight confirmed.
It seems that Perry is definitely not paying any attention to what she believes is nothing but a "dumb conspiracy." She recently took to Twitter to share a link of an article about Bloom's efforts as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.
