It has been 4 years since Capcom made the sixth installment of the "Resident Evil" franchise available to the gamers. Now that the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is fast approaching, fans of the popular franchise are speculating that Capcom will finally unveil details of "Resident Evil 7" at the E3 event next month.
Reports are claiming that the giant Japanese developer and publisher, Capcom, will be showcasing a particular game in the E3 event. Although there is no confirmation yet coming from the gaming company, rumors are still very loud that it would be the details of the anticipated "Resident Evil 7," Christian Times reported.
According to the same publication, it says that Capcom is speeding things up in terms of working on various video game projects that it intends to be available to the market this year. The report did also note that the giant video game company is currently preoccupied with its "Umbrella Corps" project, and that it is now working on endorsing the said game.
It is also said that Capcom is busy with its plans to release HD formats of the 3 past "Resident Evil" games, from the third installment up to the sixth installment of the franchise. The HD remastered versions will be available on both Xbox One and PS4 consoles, and shall be up for grabs in second half of 2016.
Meanwhile, Capcom has remained quite regarding the rumor that it would give details of "Resident Evil 7" next month, but fans of the franchise keeps on knocking the door of the gaming company to get answers. In fact, another rumor that sprouted is that gamers might get a hand of "Resident Evil 7" by the end of March next year, Slash Gear has learned.
On a lighter note, it cannot be denied that "Resident Evil 7" is earning a lot of buzz lately, knowing that the game's developer is participating in the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo event on June. Perhaps, more news about the plans of Capcom regarding the seventh installment of the survival horror video game franchise might surface in the coming weeks, given that it is less than a month before the big E3 event.
