Naruto Shippuden spoilers: The cloak of mystery surrounding Kaguya Otsutsuki is slowly being unwrapped before our eyes over the last two episodes of Naruto Shippuden.
Episode 460 and 461 provided a detailed narration of the life of the Otsutsuki matriarch, including her relationship with Tenji - the Lord of the Land of Ancestors and the father of Otsutsuki twins Hagoromo and Hamura.
We also discovered who are the first victims of Infinite Tsukuyomi and how devoted Kaguya was to the Divine Tree which she had preserved for years at the expense of the life of the villagers.
But despite the animators' effort to delve deeper into the mythos of Kaguya Otsutsuki through these filler episodes, there are still important questions that warrant clear answers in order to finally connect all dots regarding the central antagonist in the series.
So where did Kaguya come from? Is she an alien? Why she wanted to build a massive army of White Zetsu in the first place? Did she consider Momishiki and Kinshiki threats to her existence? Or there's something beyond that scared her the most?
Thanks to our friends at Gamefaq forum, we have now strong bases in the forms of theories to support the claim Kaguya isn't originally an inhabitant of Earth and that she's preparing a war against her own kinds, the Otsutsuki clan.
