The game company that has created the "Final Fantasy" franchise has just revealed the release date of their latest online game's patch, which is on June 7, according to the official forum of the online game. Revenge of the Horde will be a major update for the online game, and it will be patch 3.3.
According to Siliconera, the new game patch will have a lot of content for players to enjoy. One of the contents that players will be expecting is the next trial that will be part of the storyline, which will be called the Final Steps of Faith. This trial will let eight players fight against Nidhogg, and there will be an extreme version of it that will reward strong weapons for winners.
Producer Naoki Yoshida also showed during the Producer Live video a new special dungeon called Aquapolis. It can be discovered with a 50 percent chance when opening some treasure chests that are found with treasure maps. Players will be able to visit the dungeon that has its item level synced to 180, and they can visit different rooms, collect treasures, and fight off monsters.
For those who wanted their Fenrir mount to have the ability to fly, they can get the chance when patch 3.3 is launched. It has gained the flying ability by freezing the water particles that are floating in the air.
The new patch will also introduce another feature of the online game, which is the Raid Finder. This feature is a party matching system for players in the same Data Center, who want to try out some raids that have higher difficulty.
A new map for player versus player feature will be implemented with the new patch, which will be located in Coerthas. This new map will have a new objective of gaining control over three key areas, while players will be looking and destroying objects of interest that are randomly scattered on the field.
