Although Bethesda has not yet given any official information about the release date of "The Elder Scrolls 6," reports have it that the game may come out in 2019. Bethesda is known to release "The Elder Scrolls" games within a four-year gap.
Based on the timeline of previous games in the franchise, the game developer launched "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" in 2011, followed by "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" that released last year, according to First Post. As a result, it is only logical that the year gap points to a 2019 release for the sixth installment in "The Elder Scrolls" series.
While this seems evident, players are still optimistic that Bethesda will do something to ensure that the next game launches as early as 2017. Most fans are hopeful that the game developer will take advantage of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 to release "The Elder Scrolls 6."
Meanwhile, it is reported that Bethesda is currently focused on "Fallout 4," which means that the company may not even be considering the development of "The Elder Scrolls 6." However, the company is mum on the progress of the next installment in the franchise, something that could mean they are working on the game after all.
Fans and gamers are clamoring for any information that could be indication that the sixth installment is in the works. A sneak peek or even an official announcement will serve the purpose, and most players are banking their hopes on the imminent E3 2016 event slated for June 14-16 in Los Angeles, California, Neurogadget reported.
Even though Bethesda may decide to remain silent for the time being, there is possibility that eventually, word will come out on when the game will be released. The open world fantasy role-playing game has become iconic because of its mod-friendly, community-made content, and the endless playtime.
