It has been almost 2 years since Disney's computer animated superhero movie, "Big Hero 6," was shown on the big screen. Today, new reports are claiming that the long awaited sequel - "Big Hero 7" - may have been pushed to a 2019 premiere.
In an interview with Postmedia Network in 2015, the comic book icon and former president and chairman of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, tackled the success of the Marvel films. Lee also talked about various projects that they are going to do next. He cited a lot of films including "Captain America: Civil War" and "Ant-Man," which were already shown on the big screen. The other projects he mentioned are "Doctor Strange," which is reported to premiere later this year, "Avengers: Infinity War," which will be a 2-part film that are reported to be released on 2018 and 2019, "Black Panther" with a 2018 release date, "Inhumans,"with no clear premiere date, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" on 2017, Hall of Fame Magazine has learned.
Reports also indicates that Lee was caught saying about doing "Big Hero" after the sequel of "Guardians of the Galaxy," and knowing that Starlord and the rest of the gang will be on the big screen again by 2017, leaves fans speculating that "Big Hero 7" will finally happen 2 years after, particularly on 2019.
Meanwhile, based on Marvel Universe Wiki, it seems that Sunfire and the X-Men may have worked together at some point. The publication said that Sunfire joined X-Men after being acquired by Professor Charles Xavier. The mission was to rescue a team of X-Men from the Krakoa Island. It was also cited that Sunfire and the X-Men have worked on more missions before Sunfire joined forces with his brother, Hiro. With this given information, fans are now speculating that "Big Hero 7" may not only show Tadashi as Sunfire, but would also feature the X-Men in the sequel.
As of the moment, no firm confirmation relating to X-Men appearing in the sequel has been released. "Big Hero 7," on the other hand, is rumored to premiere on 2019.
