New details for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature the launch of "Blood and Wine" DLC this week along with its map preview and a new HD reworked project mod for the PC.
CD Projekt RED will launch the latest DLC expansion, "Blood and Wine" for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" this week as the Polish video game developers already release a new patch 1.20 update for the console and PC platforms and an early release of the DLC for Xbox One users.
The patch 1.20 contains some new game features such as reading books, letters and scrolls automatically without having to go to the inventory, items in the inventory will now have five subcategories within the grids like armor and weapons, oils, potions and bombs, quest items and equestrian gear, and crafting and alchemy. In addition, When navigating the inventory with a controller, the right stick can be used to navigate between sections of slots.
There is also an improvement into the in-game quick access menu as gamers can now choose two menu modes: the current game menu or the one in which it pauses completely by pressing different buttons. A new HUD is also introduced which give gamers a better view of elements such as buffs (time left, strength percentage, etc.) and adrenaline points.
Other features includes in-game patch fixes, visuals, gameplay and new a guide book for Gwent users. CD Projekt also release a preview of the the whole map of "Touissaint" within the "Blood and and Wine" DLC for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" as the developers stated that the size of the map is roughly the size of No Man's Land, but more densely populated that the battlegrounds of Velen, were giving players much to do, IGN reported.
In other news, PC users are given another patch update for the HD reworked project mod in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" PC version.
Mod creator HalkHoganPL revealed the HD reworked project 3.24 and is currently available for download in the PC and it features reworked textured for the round stool, the square stool and books stacks.
The update is rather light compared to the previos patch updates and HalkHoganPL added that another patch upate will be available soon once the update hits on the console versions if the mod stops working, WCCFTech reported.
"Blood and Wine" DLC will released on May 31 and will cost around $19.99 or get it using the expansion pass. A limited box edition of the DLC will contain new physical Gwent card decks, guide, tokens and code for the DLC.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
