After seeing how the White Walkers progressed in the past season, it may not be a surprise to any "Game of Thrones" fan if these creatures eventually reach and breach the wall. This could be highly possible now that fans have seen in the current season's episode 5 how the White Walkers and Wights easily slayed the Children of the Forest.
It can be recalled last season that Jon Snow, some brothers of the Night's Watch and an army of wildings had an encounter with the Night King and his legion. It was no secret that Jon and his company were almost defeated during battle. If they did not retreat from Hard Home, they could be one of the Wights walking with the entire army of undead now.
Now that the Three-Eyed Raven and the Children of the Forest are dead, and with Jon needing to fight with the Wildings in the North to reclaim Winterfell, hindrances in breaching the wall have been reduced to only one, the wall itself. Given the situation, it will now become easier for the White Walkers to reach and create an opening at the wall in order to enter Westeros, Bustle reported.
Meanwhile, as the White Walkers approaches the wall, Daenerys Targaryen is slowly building her army who will march toward King's Landing. One of the latest whom she conquered were the Dothrakis.
If both the White Walkers and Daenery's army are heading toward King's Landing, and if the story permits an encounter by both parties, it could be quite an interesting battle between "ice" and "fire" as it is known that Daenerys have her dragons.
Since it has been a common knowledge for "Game of Thrones" fans that dragon glass destroys White Walkers, Khaleesi and her dragons will play a crucial wall in triumphing over the winter creatures, Vanity Fair reported. Though it was made clear in episode 6 that fire cannot actually damage any White Walker, the three dragons of Daenerys can be used to make dragon glass.
