Followers of the Nintendo NX have been treated to a teaser trailer for an upcoming game for the console "Rise: Race the Future" which also showed that it could be launched by Winter 2016.
The trailer for the new racing video game has been launched on YouTube by VD-dev Games. It confirms its availability for the highly anticipated Nintendo NX which has not yet been officially revealed yet.
Another interesting fact about the trailer is that it the new game will also be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, the Wii U, the Nintendo 3DS and for the PC through Steam. It may mean that the power of the console would be at least on par with the mentioned platforms.
Earlier reports have already claimed that the Nintendo NX would be more powerful than the PS4 and might even take on the new PlayStation NEO plus the new Xbox Scorpio. It would make sense that developers will be making AAA games for the console with better graphics.
The "Rise: Race the Future" is not the only confirmed game for the said console. Square Enix has also announced that they will be making several "Dragon Quest" games but there have been no trailers yet.
Another interesting fact is that the racing game is expected to launch by Winter 2016. Nintendo said that the Nintendo NX will only be released before March 2017, WCCFTech reported.
It is possible that the console could launch earlier than what was stated. Nintendo could even reveal it during the E3 2016 event.
The trailer also shows what could be the official logo of the Nintendo NX at the end of the video, Pocket-Lint reported. Other reports have said that the NX name is only a code name for now and that the company could still rename it once it launches.
Graphics of the game could also determine the power of the new console. Since it would be available on the PC through Steam, it could also have the same level.
Nintendo is expected to launch the Nintendo NX in 2017 but the "Rise: Race the Future" trailer could have teased that it will be out by Winter 2016. The reveal could happen at E3 or at the Tokyo Game Show.
