For the iPhone 7 release date later this 2016, Apple has reportedly cooked up killer feature upgrades that will prompt next iPhone buys by the millions. This year's refresh, new reports said, will bump up the basic memory to 32GB with a complete redesign that will render an edgeless display and clean rear finish.
After sticking to the 16GB storage for the entry-level iPhone since 2011, Apple is finally doubling the memory capacity of the basic iPhone 7, which an analyst said will unbox with 32GB of flash drive. Kevin Wang of IHS Technology claimed in a recent post that the next iPhone will entirely different from the past models with its increased capacity, MobiPicker reported.
Wang, the report said, based his forecast from information obtained through "supply chain research." The report added that the IHS analyst has previously provided accurate information on upcoming Apple products and services so his latest call can be hardly considered a rumor.
If true, Apple and non-Apple fans alike are likely to seriously consider a new iPhone buy amidst the sea of Android flagship alternatives that offer not only 32GB as basic storage but the ability to expand the memory space thanks to the inclusion of microSD slot. The latter is not expected to be supported in time for the iPhone 7 launch.
Edgeless Display, however, is likely something to look forward to the upcoming iPhone as the feature upgrade, according to BGR, seems to dominate the forecasts recently issued by market watchers. For instance, Nikkei reported that with edge to edge display the next iPhone "will be able to create more complex tactile vibrations on the display because of a tiny, but high-performance motor equipped inside. But is should be noted that the same report sees the feature upgrade happening by 2017.
Of note though is the same prediction from Apple blogger John Gruber, who revealed in a recent post that the iPhone 7 will have an all-screen front panel with the Touch ID sensor, speaker and all the other touch screen elements embedded with the display.
And not only that the next iPhone will boast of an Edgeless Display, the device will have a clean rear finish as shown in a Twitter post by gadget leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer. In the post, picked by Phone Arena, the supposed iPhone 7 back plate in Rose Gold was displayed with the antenna band pushed further at the edge of the device.

The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus release date is not expected until September 2016 but rumors say that mass production of the flagship devices has started May, signaling the possibility of an unboxing that is ahead of schedule, likely as early as August 2016.
