“Teen Mom 2” stars Kailyn Lowry and husband Javi Marroquin are heading for a divorce. In a sneak peek clip for Season 7 finale, airing this Monday, June 6, Kailyn and Javi talked about the possibility of splitting up. It seems like the couple is already anticipating “the talk,” aware that their marriage is not working out.
According to MTV, Javi, himself, admitted last season that they had already reached their "breaking point." Kailyn also said that if Javi were to throw in the towel, and ended asking for a divorce she will most likely agree.
In the promo for "Teen Mom 2" Season 7 finale, Javi seemed to have started to give up on their marriage. He even went far as saying that there is "no future" for the two of them. Kailyn claimed that the only reason why he wanted out was because she no longer wanted to have kids. He argued that it was definitely a "big reason."
As reported by Us Weekly, Kailyn confirmed back in May that they will be ending their four-year marriage. They held that their main priority will always be their kids.
An insider told the publication that Kailyn has known for a while that getting a divorce was "inevitable." It was said that there has always been a disconnect between them. Turns out, Kailyn was not at all worried about cheating allegations, it was just their personalities that do not seem to match.
"They've been separated since December, so if Javi was with anyone else overseas it wouldn't really be cheating. The bottom line is they were two strong personalities who both want to be in control living together. They clashed."
In the most recent episode of "Teen Mom 2" Season 7, Kailyn told her friends that Javi's deployment really took a toll in their relationship. She explained that they have been fighting non-stop, and felt that perhaps it was time to move on.
"He doesn't feel supported. We lose things to talk about. His day-to-day is the same, we have been fighting. Right now I feel like is the time for me to focus on myself."
"Teen Mom 2" Season 7 airs Mondays on MTV.
