A three-minute video clip praising the Communist Party of China gets renewed approval from Chinese netizens. The video entitled "The Communist Party of China Is With You Along The Way" is a re-upload as the said video was first glimpsed by China's Internet users more than a year ago.
The video featured people from different sectors and background talking about their dreams and ambitions, showing China's urban and rural landscapes in all its glorious diversity.
The video has an English narration, with Chinese subtitles. It begins with the narrator saying that the 80 million Party members, along with the rest of the Chinese citizenry, are all working toward the fulfillment of everyone's dreams.
The video went on to say that "for every dreamer to have a stage, and for every dream seeker to have an opportunity for success, to have the joy of a dream-come-true."
The video featured students, farmers, dancers, delivery staff and other professionals, saying their aspirations including "a good harvest," "to start a diner," "a pretty wife," "more pension," "clean water," and even "world peace," among others.
The video's strength came from the very vivid and fluid visual narrative, showcasing beautiful landscapes and heritage and juxtaposing them with urban sprawl, rural underdevelopment, and even pollution and traffic, creating a vivid summary of China and the daily struggle of its people. The video concluded by saying that with the leadership of the Party, Chinese citizens' dreams can come true.
The video got mostly positive reactions from Chinese netizens, praising and lauding its high technical standards and its emotional impact on the viewers.
A comment on Sina Weibo said: "We all have our own dreams, and 1.3 billion small dreams will form our Chinese dream."
Another post said: "Although there are still things we don't like, as long as we make the effort, problems will eventually be solved. I love my country."
The video was produced by On The Road To Revival, a studio that earlier released a video about successful Party leaders.
