Polish striker Robert Lewandowski will allegedly "force" a Bayern Munich exit this summer if he is not allowed by the Bundesliga champions to leave Allianz Arena to join La Liga giants Real Madrid next season.
The 27-year-old Poland national team skipper said to have "already come to a private agreement" with the Bernabéu residents recently and an imminent offer from Los Blancos to Bayern will be made in the next few weeks.
ESPN indicated that Lewandowski and his agent, Cezary Kucharski, met with Real Madrid director Jose Angel Sanchez before Bayern's semifinal clash with Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderón Stadium in the Spanish capital city in late April.
It was mentioned that the Warsaw native is seeking £300,000-per-week in wages, but the Bavarians are not keen on discussing a contract extension for him at the moment. His current contract will expire in 2019, three years from now.
The report also said that Der FCB is "in no rush to even entertain a sale" as potential replacements for Lewandowski are not available this summer transfer window or have too high release clauses of over £80 million, such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Gonzalo Higuaín, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Diego Costa, and Romelu Lukaku, to name a few.
Meanwhile, The Sun noted that the 6-foot forward is "ready to force his exit" from incoming head coach Carlo Ancelotti's side in the summer "after already agreeing terms with" the Madrid giants.
In a recent interview, Lewandowski admitted that he was never loyal to the four straight German top flight champions and a potential exit is always a possibility for him.
"I find it strange that some players stay at a club until the end of their contract," Lewandowski said. "I've never said that I was going to finish my career this club or that club and I've never kissed the badge. It's just not the way I do things."
Lewandowski was acquired by Bayern in the summer of 2014 from Bundesliga rival Borussia Dortmund at an undisclosed transfer fee. He just finished his second season with the club, leading the German first division competitions in scoring with 30 goals in 32 appearances domestically.
Overall, he netted an impressive 42 times in 52 games in all competitions for Bayern this season.
