"Tom Clancy's The Division" Underground DLC release date has been announced by Ubisoft during the Xbox E3 press conference. Xbox One has an exclusivity deal with the game, which lets it have the DLC earlier than the rest of the platforms.
The Underground DLC was announced during Microsoft's E3 conference recently, and it will be released on their console on June 28, according to IGN. This will be the video game's first paid expansion that the game publisher will be releasing. It will come with new locations that are located underground and it will also have randomly generated missions.
Due to the PC company's exclusivity deal with the game publisher, their console will get the DLC earlier than the rest of the other platforms. PlayStation 4 and the PC players will eventually get the DLC this coming Aug. 2, according to Polygon.
The game publisher has also released a press release recently, which has more details on how to expand the gameplay for the single and multiplayer modes. The new DLC will add new features and loot for the players like the expansion's eponymous mode, which lets players explore the subways, tunnels, and sewers that are randomly generated. The expansion will also have a new Incursion called the Dragon's Nest, which will be larger than previous updates, and it will be set in Hell's Kitchen and will feature the Cleaners as the common enemies to fight.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the game publisher, and to show thanks to the players who supported the game's success, members of the Ubisoft Club will be able to get three new outfits when the DLC is released. These three new outfits will come from the Tom Clancy world like from "Ghost Recon," "Rainbow Six," and "Splinter Cell."
A second paid DLC pack called Survival, which is scheduled to be released this coming summer by the game publisher. They have described this upcoming DLC as a mode with replayability that players can play endlessly. It will introduce familiar features from the survival video games like scavenging food for survival, and adapting to different weather conditions.
