"The Last Guardian" Collector's Edition is now available for preorder on the Amazon website. The price for the package will be worth the premium contents that it has inside.
Amazon has started to take the preorders for the collector's edition of the upcoming video game that many fans have been waiting for many years already. The video game will be launched this coming Oct. 25, and interested buyers can purchase the standard or the collector's edition of the game on the popular online shopping website, according to IGN.
The listing of the collector's edition on the online shopping website has a price of $119.99, which is a bit expensive, but the contents are all worth it. The contents of this edition are inside a large wooden crate, which really compliments with the theme of the video game, according to VG247. It is stamped with the words The Last Guardian.
Additionally, the art book will have 72 pages, which will contain all of the images that are related to the game and its development. The book will be one of the most interesting content of the collector's edition, since it will depict the game's development history, which almost took 10 years to do. It will also contain a digital soundtrack of 10 songs from the game, and also a sheet of stickers.
The highlight among the contents of the collector's edition of the video game is the large, premium statue of the creature Trico and the boy. The boy is standing on top of the feathered creature, which is sleeping on the ground and some fans describe it as a mix of a griffon, cat, and a dog. The video game disc will be housed in a premium steelbook case, which is mostly colored white and has images of the little boy and the creature.
In other news, for interested buyers who will preorder the video game through digital means like the PlayStation Store, they will get a preorder bonus of the its official PlayStation 4 theme. Also, while North America and Europe will get it earlier, the United Kingdom gamers will have to wait until Oct. 28 to acquire it.
