The upcoming episode of "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) opens with some drama revolving around Chelsea and Adam. According to We Love Soaps spoilers, Chelsea finds herself in a difficult position where she is forced to make a hard decision. Details about it remain unknown.

Trouble is far from over for the couple. Adam's situation gets complicated as new evidence against him surfaces. However, Dylan has a different plan. A television spot for the upcoming segment of "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) reveals that Dylan is working to protect Adam. He finds a lead which may prove that Adam has been setup for Constance's murder.

In the meantime, Nick and Phyllis come together and build a plan to sabotage Luca and Summer's relationship. According to Soap Central spoilers, Phyllis and Nick's plan fails miserably and backfires.

Also, Sharon and Mariah find themselves in a tragic situation.

"There's been an accident, it's awful! You have to call 911 right now," Mariah tells Sharon in the teaser video.

In addition, "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) actor Michel E. Knight, who plays the role of Dr. Simon Neville, is exiting the show. According to We Love Soaps, the decision of letting Knight go was reportedly made prior to executive producer Jill Farren Phelps' exit from the show.

The big news was first revealed by TV Guide's Michael Logan via Twitter: "Three-time Emmy winner Michael E. Knight out as Dr. Simon Neville after a few more eps. Decision made before EP switch."

Knight joined "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) cast in 2015. He is best known for his work in ABC Soap opera "All My Children."
