Now that we're basically moving towards the later part of the year, people are expecting that the Apple company would release most of their updated devices along the way. The iPhone 7 series is believed to be released by September, and according to some reports, Apple would do the same thing that they did in 2015 that an updated iPad Mini series may also be released.
Ecumenical news reported that Apple's strategy in 2015 was to unveil the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus and iPad Mini 4, which got people wondering if iPad Mini 5 would also be released alongside iPhone 7 series this year.
Since the Cupertino-based tech giant was not able to release an updated iPad Air in 2015, many are wondering if the upcoming iPad Mini 5 will only imitate the features seen in an iPad Air or will it have some updated features that will catch consumers' attention.
With regards with the iPad Mini 5's possible specifications, Apple announced that the devices that they would release this year will now have a lightening-type audio port. If Apple decide to merge this new specifications with their iPad series, people should expect major redesigns and configurations with the iPad Mini 5.
According to Christian Daily, the iPad Mini 5 would still have the same looks as the previous iPad Mini 4, although it is rumored that Apple has pumped up the system of this upcoming tablet plus great improvements has been made.
On the same report, it also stated some of the major rumored specifications of the iPad Mini 5 that would surely catch people's attention. The device is rumored to have a much improved exterior that is going to be made up of 7000 series aluminum chassis, which will make the iPad Mini 5 more hardened and durable. The iPad Mini 5 would also have a more slick and thin look, reducing its bulkiness to 5mm.
In addition, rumors has it that the iPad Mini 5 would come with some interesting features like the 3D touch that is now seen on the updated iPhone series, an Apple pencil and a new and improved camera that has 8MP rear and 1.2MP front.
