Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber continue to be under the public eye as speculations about them being in a relationship continue to be the buzz but Baldwin has again stated they are just friends.
The 18-year-old model said in an interview with E! Online during the amFAR gala in New York City that they are not romantically linked, pointing out they are only BFFs. The blonde beauty said they have been out together but people should stop assuming they have something other than friendship.
She adds they have known each other since she was 13 so they have been friends for a very long time now. She shares, "He's just going through a time in his life where he's transitioning in a really positive way and he needs good people around him. And I'm trying to be a good friend and be there for him and support him."
She added any male in Bieber's place will always be linked to any girl around him. She noted it's the world they live in so she just tries to be there for him and support him no matter what the rumors say.
This is not the first time she has addressed the rumors surrounding them as she has been taking it to her social media accounts to talk about it since last year. She has been rumored to be the new girlfriend of Bieber as the pop star and ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez have already called it quits late last year.
Hailey's father, Stephen Baldwin, has also issued a statement to Daily Mail Online regarding the status her daugther's relationship with the pop star. He noted they should just remain friends, which he thinks is best for his daughter. He added it's great to know that two adults who have known each other since they were young could just remain friends. He also said Justin is doing great as he has been spiritually enriching himself in New York with pastor Carl Lentz from Hillsong where his daughter also goes to church.
Hailey was with Bieber and Kendall Jenner on Feb. 12, Thursday, during the New York Fashion Week for Kanye West's Adidas Runway.
