According to Samsung mobile devices fan site SamMobile, the next Galaxy Note unpacking will see but a single device release that will take the name Galaxy Note 7 Edge. The flagship, as indicated by the label, will boast of a curved display that stretches 5.8-inch.

The front panel will be rendered in gorgeous dual-edge that Samsung first made popular with the Galaxy S6 Edge. As expected, the mainstay Super AMOLED display technology will be part of the deal that should give users immersive QHD 2K screen resolution or 2560 x 1440 display pixels.

SamMobile said that at least for the European version of the Note 7 Edge, the GST main engine Exynos 8890 will fire up the device but with overclocked speed. To ensuring that the mobile device's will live up to its superfast processing capability, the RAM provision has been ratcheted up to 6GB, confirming the earlier reports that the next Note phablet from Samsung will impress with desktop-class prowess.

To keep the juice flowing as long as possible, the report claimed that the Note 7 Edge will deploy packed with a massive 4000mAh battery.

The specs and feature upgrades mentioned so far paint the Galaxy Note 7 Edge as the most powerful Android device to come ever but many more premium functionalities are seen to be delivered with the supersized phone. Among the most rumored capability bumps are waterproofing and dust protection or the same IP68 rating that came with the GS7 and built-in support for virtual reality features or VR.

The Note 7 Edge is expected too to arrive with nearly the same camera set up of the Galaxy S7 - a 12-megapixel rear shooter that is laced with both camera hardware and software boosts. The front camera has a 5-megapixel lens.

On release date, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Edge is rumored to unbox with Android N (Nutella) that plays part on the device's earlier launch. And that will happen, SamMobile said, by second week of August 2016 with the Netherlands as among the initial destinations. Starting price is set at €799 for the SIM-free edition.
