Several more iPhone 7 leaks are still surfacing in the little time left before its expected official unveiling. Now, the new speculations claim that it will have an ambient light sensor and a larger earpiece.
Despite the critics saying that the iPhone 7 would be a "boring" smartphone because of the lack of innovation, loyal followers are still excited about its release. Earlier reports have been conflicting with each other but they are all coming together now.
The dual camera setup was one of the controversial rumors but newer leaked photos have shown that it actually exists. Phone cases and even the camera modules themselves have been shown.
Mac Otakara now claims that the upcoming iPhone 7 will have a "slightly longer receiver" which could be the earpiece of Apple's new smartphone, Apple Insider has learned. The report has also claimed that the receiver and the ear speaker themselves will be joined together as one in order to save up more space.
Speaking of space, the iPhone 7 is also expected to be one of the Cupertino-based tech company's thinnest iPhones. It was actually the basis for the rumors of the 3.5mm stereo jack removal which is now believed to be still on the phone despite the earlier reports.
Another new claim from the reliable leakers is that the iPhone 7 will have an ambient light sensor located on the right side of the earpiece, 9 to 5 Mac reported. It may not seem like a problem for some, but accessories will need to be designed differently if the rumors are correct.
Besides the dual camera setup and the other rumors, the new iPhone is pretty much expected to have the same design as the iPhone 6. Some users are now expecting it to be released just for the sake of having an iPhone for 2016 and they expect the iPhone 8 to be better next year considering that it could feature an all-glass design an OLED panel.
Apple will hopefully reveal the iPhone 7 official specs, features and release date later this year. It could be revealed alongside the release of the new watchOS 3 and the iOS 10 major update for iPhones and iPads.
