AT&T will soon release Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 this month, according to the US carrier's support forum. Also, for those who own the unlocked version of the Galaxy Tab S2 in the US will soon receive the software update.
It was clearly stated on the AT&T network forum that Samsung's flagship phablet of 2014 is scheduled to receive the update by the end of this month. With only a week left, owners of the device are excited to get the upgrade that brings with it special features like Doze, Google Now on Tap, quick settings, supported permission controls, two-part notifications, etc.
As is noted by GSM Arena, Verizon's Tab S2 has already updated to the latest Marshmallow software. The 9.7-inch Tab S2 device in Germany started receiving the roll out in April, while the 8-inch version in the UK received update in May.
Irrespective of the size, Galaxy Tab S2 owners in the United States can now enjoy the firmware upgrade on their devices. This new update weighs 1GB that will appear as an update notification on users' devices in version XXU2CPD9. If the notification is not visible on the phone, users can download the update by checking it manually in Settings > About device > Software update.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which was announced in September in 2014, has a super AMOLED 5.7-inches display with 1440 x 2560 pixels and 16M colors. Protected by Gorilla Glass 4, the screen has a pixel density of 518 ppi.

On the other hand, the 9.7-inch Tab S2, which was released in September 2015, has a super AMOLED screen boasting 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution.
The tablet is available in 32GB and 64GB storage versions, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The primary camera is 8MP, while the secondary camera is 2.1MP. The device comes packed with a non-removable 5870 mAh battery.
With the new Marshmallow upgrade, both Note 4 and Tab S2 will enjoy intelligent battery saving feature, called Doze. It's battery saving power is phenomenal. Google Now on Tap, on the other hand, helps to create shortcuts, which is required for contextual and time-sensitive information, as pointed out by Android Pit.
