"The Last Ship" Season 3 episode 4 debuts July 3. The upcoming segment is titled "Devil May Care" and it will see Tom Chandler, the captain of Nathan James who is determined to save the mankind from widespread virus, comes face to face with his new enemy. In the forthcoming segment, Captain Chandler continues his mission in Asia. The network has released the synopsis for "The Last Ship" Season 3 episode 4. According to the Spoiler TV's description for "Devil May Care," Chandler's suspected new foe shows up. Chandler must confront his new enemy as he seek answers.
Elsewhere, Slattery and his team, who have been kidnapped and being kept in a remote area, find out more about the rumoured virus mutation. The show sheds light on the new threat and its impact on the world. Meanwhile, the condition worsens creating pressure on President Michener.
Note: Promo video for "The Last Ship" Season 3 episode 4 is yet to be released. It is expected to be out after the broadcast of episode 3 "Shanzhai" on June 26. So, stay tuned it will be made available.
Speaking to Buddy TV, "The Last Ship" showrunner Hank Steinberg revealed that the Season 3 storyline is "split between the action in Asia and the Presidency in the new White House in St. Louis. ..."
"The drama is between geo-political issues of how to hold the country together and the question of how many resources should we give to saving the rest of the world when America is stretched very thin and trying to repair itself," he added.
Actor Jocko Sims, who plays the role of Lt. Carlton Burk, reveals that President Peng might be behind the new problems in Asia.
"Initially, we hear that one of our supposed allies in China, President Peng, isn't distributing the vaccine the way we heard that he should. We head over for a summit to find out what's going on. And, while we're on that mission, like every other season, things happen. A huge, huge thing happens. It's just so cool," Sims said.
