Fallout 4 is set to receive the Nuka World DLC in August and it is believed to be the last expansion for the open-world title but that does not seem to be the case.
The Fallout sequel from Bethesda has seen its share of several DLC expansions for the single player campaign. Bethesda has already rolled out Automatron, Far Harbor and the recent Contraptions DLC.
While everyone else on the console is either waiting for the new patch or dealing with the problematic mods for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, PC players are already excited to know whether there will be more DLC for Fallout 4. Nuka World was announced during the E3 2016 conference and it was automatically assumed that it would be the last expansion for the game.
Bethesda Softworks Vice President Pete Hines said in an interview with IGN that Nuka World may not be the last Fallout 4 DLC as they plan to support the video game up until 2017, GamingBolt has learned. However, he did say that the decision for the additional DLC will ultimately rest on the development team.
Hines said that it is not up to him whether there will be more downloadable content to follow. It's a vague statement but at least they are not explicitly announcing that Nuka World will be the last one.
Nuka World will pit Fallout 4 players against dozens of Raiders in a new amusement park, iTech Post reported. Players who haven't bought Fallout 4 yet can do so now at the ongoing Steam Summer Sale 2016 for 50 percent off the regular price.
There are other Fallout 4 DLCs that are on sale such as Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop and Automatron. Contraptions Workshop, Vault-Tech Workshop and Nuka World are still at full price considering that they have just been recently announced and rolled out.
Fallout 4 players on both the consoles and the PC could wait for a new DLC after Nuka World. The development team itself has been quiet on the matter and they have not commented whether they will be ending the DLC work after August or they could still develop more DLC until 2017.
