The fifth season of the hit Fox sitcom, "New Girl," wrapped up last May, and with "New Girl" Season 6 already confirmed to air on September this year, new reports claim that a possible storyline for the next season may involve a reunion between Jess (played by Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (played by Jake Johnson).
It can be recalled that "New Girl" Season 5 showed Nick in romantic ties with Reagan (played by Megan Fox), but it also featured Jess' realization that she still loves her former boyfriend Nick. With that said, rumors are loud that "New Girl" Season 6 may revolve on a love triangle between Jess, Nick and Reagan.
According to reports, the inclusion of Fox in the sitcom was because Deschanel has to leave the series for some time to give birth to her daughter Elsie. Fox's role was inserted to be bisexual, but later on, enjoyed the company of Nick. In relation to that, the creator of the series, Liz Meriwether, revealed that Nick likes Reagan, and that this character helped him to build his confidence and maturity.
However, the creator added that the door is not yet closed for Jess and Nick. Meriwhether said that the two characters should recognize the things that caused their break-up before the two can even have their reunion, Entertainment Weekly reported.
On the other hand, reports claim that the supporters of the series are excited about the newlyweds, and what the two will going to show in "New Girl" Season 6. It was also said that Simone is highly enthusiastic on what the writers have for her character. Despite of her excitement with her new wife-related role, Simone exposed that she does not know what her character will show in "New Girl" Season 6, Wet Paint has learned.
Meanwhile, reports are also loud that Simone dropped some clues before, regarding her future role in "New Girl" Season 6. The actress also hinted a possible entry of baby Schmidts'.
Fox confirmed that "New Girl" Season 6 is going to air on Sept. 20, 2016.
