Zestia is an easy to install alternative that iOS jailbreaks fans shoudl consider, safer and something that will not place iPhones or iPads in compromised situations.
It should be noted that Zestia is not a full jailbreak. Rather, it is seen as the best alternative for stock iOS. It was previously known as X-Cydia and does come with certain limitations.
The fact that iOS jailbreaks may not be coming soon could make Zestia as the best alternative for iOS users. The best part of it all is that users don't even have to worry about issues like security and voiding warranties.
With nothing much to lose, iPhone or iPad owners who have been waiting for a jailbreak may as well give it a shot. It may not carry the full perks previous iOS jailbreaks have but at least Zestia offers something close to that.
Installing Zestia is not that complicated. All users have to do is head on over to zestia.lmdinteractive.com and install the software according to this Phone Radar.
Once Zestia has been downloaded, users need to open the setup page and click on install found at the upper right corner. After installation, navigate to the home screen and look for the Zestia icon.
From here, users can select from the apps they can download to their phone. Assuming that an app has been downloaded, users need to do some more tweaks via the phone settings.
Head on over to the General>Profile and locate the app that was downloaded. Look for the Trust option and tap trust again in the box that would appear via the modal box.
Once you follow those steps, you can now launch the app you just downloaded using Zestia. You may notice that a lot of the apps you may find are the ones which may not even make it to the App Store. Some may interest you and others not.
Compared to what an iOS jailbreak brings there are limitations. If these features are not enough, looking or waiting for a full jailbreak is probably best according to another Value Walk.
