Is a new episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ (GoT) airing on July 3?

"Game of Thrones" (GoT) aired Season 6 finale titled "The Winds of Winter" featuring Tommen and High Sparrow's death on June 24. "Game of Thrones" (GoT) Season 7 is expected to air next year. Considering previous seasons' schedule, episode 1 is expected to go on air in late April 2017. In the meantime, speculations and rumoured spoilers are making the rounds.

While it's too early to expect concrete plot details for Season 7, one thing is certain that Emilia Clarke (Daenerys), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Lena Headey (Cersei), Sophie Turner (Sansa), Maisie Williams (Arya), Kit Harington (Jon Snow) will return. Also, George R.R. Martin's final book "The Winds of Winter" in "A Song of Ice and Fire" series is rumoured to be the basis of the upcoming episodes' storylines. However, some deviations are expected.

Also, Season 7 is said to be shorter than previous seasons of "Game of Thrones" (GoT). In an interview with Vanity Fair, show's director Jack Bender said that Season 7 may consist of only seven episodes.

"I don't know the answer to that. They're only doing seven (episodes), and they've got their regulars who have done it forever," Bender told the publication.

In addition, The Hollywood Reporter is speculating that Season 7 will see a war between Daenerys and Cersei. At the same time, expect a war between two kings in the north of Westeros, Jon Snow and the ancient Night King.

Also, the website talk about an epic Stark reunion that will bring Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Arya Stark and Bran Stark together. How exactly it happens remains to be seen. Meanwhile, Jon Snow and Daenerys are expected to come face to face. And it is going to be an interesting point because Daenerys' brother Rhaegar is rumoured to be Jon Snow's father.

Furthermore, Sam and his stay at Citadel at Oldtown is expected to reveal some important details and play an important role in the upcoming war. The Wall is expected to come down as the White Walkers approach Westeros for the biggest war in the history of the Seven Kingdoms.
