In "Game of Thrones" season 6 episode 9's "Battle of the Bastards," Sophie Turner's character Sansa Stark finally executed her revenge against sadistic husband Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) who made her life a living hell. That was following an epic war against Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Stark's known half brother, and the Bolton camp when the former and his men finally captured Bolton. However, the Starks also lost their youngest sibling, Rickon Stark in the war.
At the satiating feeling of many "Game of Thrones" followers, Sansa had Bolton eaten by his own wild hungry dogs, putting an end to the character's story in HBO's massive hit. Now, focusing on that scene, the Sansa Stark actress has a great joke about Rheon's character. It appeared Turner has a much light-hearted take on the Stark-Bolton story, apart from her character's dark storyline with the evil Bolton.
Turner posted an Instagram where TV listings showed the American's TV series on Fox, "Gordon Ramsay's Hotel Hell." She shortened it to "Ramsay's Hotel Hell," encircled it with red and captioned the post, "No thank you."
Meanwhile, as for the season's finale, Snow was declared King in the North led by Lady Lyanna Mormont's (Bella Ramsey) of the Bear Islands. Sansa shared a significant look with Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) amidst the celebration. Such look worry "Game of Thrones" followers who love Snow and who do not trust Littlefinger.
There could be trouble between Sansa, the eldest daughter of the House of Stark, and Snow, the family's known bastard son. It is something series fans do not want to happen.
"[Sansa's] not getting the credit she feels she deserves, that Littlefinger would grant her with," Turner told Variety. Snow wants Stark on the Iron Throne and he will be by her side. Though she does not want that, she still wants to be recognized for her effort for claiming Winterfell back, which triggered everything and led them to defeat the Boltons. She now sees Littlefinger more of a trustworthy ally.
Gillen's character is dangerous at times, something Sansa knows but it seems she may take a risk to get her credit as she already has some kind of jealousy towards Snow, as Turner told Hollywood Reporter, for getting all the credit from defeating the Boltons. While growing up with Snow in Winterfell, Sansa has been influenced by her mother's resentment of her half-brother who is a proof of her husband's infidelity.
Yet, viewers already know that Snow is actually her cousin, the son of her aunt Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, thanks to her brother Bran Stark's visions. For now, they hope Sansa and Snow would trust each other.
Here's the reunion of Sansa and Snow, which led to the defeat of the Boltons.
