If the photo of a half-naked woman in IKEA became viral in China, it should not be surprising if a scantily dressed woman who live streams her sexy dance moves would gain thousands of live viewers.
That was what a young Chinese woman wearing high heels, white shorts and grey top did inside her toilet which incurred the ire of the country’s censor. The woman’s erotic dancing attracted around 100,000 viewers, reported Daily Mail.
However, because even live streams that do not feature nudity but still are too sexy have been banned by the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), her show was cut off air. A few weeks ago, CAC even banned the live stream of women eating bananas for being too erotic.
She is seen initially sitting on the toilet bowl and then stands to dance to music which viewers could also hear. At one point, she stops, approaches the camera and talks to her audience and then makes sexy poses. The woman also climbs on top of the bowl and continues her erotic dance, grinding and gyrating her hips.
Reports by QQ.com named the woman as Song Zixin who live streamed her sexy dance on social network YY which has about 300 million users.
As expected, the live stream became viral and a hot topic on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. One user criticized Song Zixin’s dance moves for being “shameless, disgusting and ugly,” while another netizen pointed out that the young woman was not naked which does not deserve being cut off air.
However, a third user pushed for a ban on webcasts like the one done by Song Zixin for having a negative influence on Chinese society. According to New Daily Express, 75 percent of viewers of these webcasts – which has shifted from people playing video games and chatting to sexy women dancing – are males in search of partners as single Chinese males grapple with the country’s gender imbalance.
