The latest details and possible spoilers for "The Flash" movie will feature Revers-Flash, a possible "Suicide Squad" cameo and a change in the film's release date.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the possible main villain in "The Flash" live-action solo movie starring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash as his arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash is added into the film.
Previous reports revealed several character details for "The Flash" movie as Eobard Thawne is described as the "Bill Gates" of Central City and one the smartest man in the room. Thawne is suffering from a advanced degenerating disease and left confined on a wheel chair. It is unknown yet if this version of Thawne will be a speedster in DC Extended Universe, nor is his sickness a cover up similar to "The Flash" TV series.
Although Warnr Bros. has not signed anyone playing the role Eobard Thawne, graphic artist BossLogic took it upon himself as he tweeted a fan made photo Miller as The Flash and Reverse-Flash being played by "Interstellar" star Matthew McConaughey. Even though this is a fan made art, comic fans could not help but wonder if McConaughey can pull off playing Eobard Thawne in "The Flash" movie as he accomplished many acting roles in his career including winning an Oscar from his film "Dallas Buyers Club". Perhaps this will be a great opportunity for him to be a part of the DC Extended Universe if Warner Bros. will have their way of having McConaughey in "The Flash" movie.
In other news, it seems that the release date for "The Flash" movie might be changed as Warner Bros. recently announced that the "Tomb Raider" film remake will be scheduled to be release in March 16, 2018, Screenrant reported.
Warner Bros. placed "The Flash" movie on March 16, and will likely change the release date for business reasons since they are part of the same production. It is unknown yet if Warner Bros. will decide to changed the film's release date or retain its original spot.
Lastly, rumors are making rounds that The Flash (Miller) will be making a cameo appearance in "Suicide Squad" movie as Barry will be responsible for putting Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) in prison in a flash back scene, The Geek Mafia reported.
The Flash will appear first in "Justice League" on Nov. 17, 2017, and his solo film is on March 16, 2018.
