German actor Tom Wlaschiha is set to attend the Dublin Comic Con 2016 which will take place on Aug. 6 and 7 at the Convention Centre. He plays the "Faceless Man" Jaqen H'ghar in HBO's massive hit "Game of Thrones," a leader of the assassin group who has a significant role in the storyline of the young daughter of House Stark, Arya Stark.
This year's Comic Con event is the fourth in Dublin, the brainchild of Derek Cosgrave and Karl Walsh who based the show on the famous Comic Con in San Diego. It has been a great event where one can dress like his or her hero and come in their finest fancy garb. The event will feature sci-fi, anime, videogame, comic book, film and television content for the attendees to enjoy.
Dublin Comic Con 2016 expects to attract more than 60,000 fans who will get to dress up as their heroes, as well as meet other attendees. This year's event in Dublin manages to have the presence of Wlaschiha who appeared in "Game of Thrones" seasons 2, 5 and 6, Entertainment.ie reported.
The actor who has Czech roots has been honed by a dozen roles in German films and TV series from 1995 to date, making him a fine actor he is today. In "Game of Thrones," he portrays one of the most mysterious characters on TV, the cult leader of assassins who worship the many-faced god, who tried to teach Maisie Williams' character Arya Stark become a "no one" in the Black and White house.
It is unclear yet if the story of Wlashchiha's character has ended as his protégée seems to become a skilled young assassin who has started to avenge those who caused injustice to her family. Arya Stark was last seen killing Walder Frey and his two sons, who were responsible for the death of her mother Catelyn Stark, brother Robb Stark and his pregnant wife Talisa Stark who were betrayed in the Red Wedding.
Many comic-book fans are expected to attend Dublin's annual multi-genre Comic Con event while welcoming a host of big-name stars like Wlaschiha. The 43-year-old actor will join other stars, such as Kevin Eastman, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" co-creator, Robert Maschio who played Todd in "Scrubs," Scott Wilson (Hershel from "The Walking Dead"), and Jim Beaver who appears in "Supernatural," "Breaking Bad," "Deadwood," and "Dexter," Independent.ie reported.
