"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is finally closing next week and taking hints from the overflowing spoiler reports, it appears that fans have to brace themselves for some unexpected turn of events. Recently, Tom Wlaschiha, 43, spilled the beans on one particular possible spoiler that had the Faceless Men's up in arms.
Wlaschiha, who stars as the face-changing assassin named Jaqen H'Ghar, recently spilled the beans to The Hollywood Reporter about his view of Jaqen and Arya Stark's (Maisie Williams) relationship and what the Faceless Men always wanted out of the youngest daughter and third child of Lady Catelyn (Michelle Fairley) and Lord Eddard Stark (Sean Bean).
"I think, and it's my interpretation here, that he enjoyed seeing Arya succeed," Wlaschiha told the publication about the Faceless Men's plans for Arya. "I think he's been constantly testing her to make sure she gets stronger and make sure she gets to be the best contender in Westeros that she can be."
The German actor preceded ahead to say that he never expected Arya to become "no one," pointing out the reason on why there is this smirk at the end, when the latter tells him that she is still Arya Stark in the eight episode, in light of the fact that Jaqen is pleased in a way. He added that Arya's ultimate goal has always been for her to return to Westeros and play some sort of imperative role in the great war to come.
It can be recalled that Arya murdered and ripped off her Faceless nemesis, The Waif (Faye Marsay) and stuck it into one of the shelves after their fatal confrontation. Not long after Jaqen found out about the incident, he then tells Arya that she has finally become "No One" and has passed the test to join the Faceless Men.
However, Arya corrects him that she is Arya Stark of Winterfell and declared her intention to come back to the Seven Kingdoms, The Telegraph has learned. Wlaschiha then describes Jaqen's journey throughout the series, stating that the Faceless Men absolutely have an interest in what is happening in Westeros.
"I think the Faceless Men want to have some sort of influence on what's happening in Westeros, and Arya being their weapon," Wlaschiha added.
Meanwhile, the finale episode of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 is scheduled to premiere on June 26. With 69-minute running time, the "Winds of Winter" is slated to become the longest episode in the entire television series so far.
