There have been many updates since the announcement of "Pokémon Sun and Moon" back in February, including the new Legendary Pokémon and the new Mythical Pokémon. The biggest changes to any Pokémon game are the new additions to its cast, and fans are clamoring for more information on the new monsters that will be incorporated to their Pokedex in November.
The Legendary Pokémon of the Alola region will be found on the box of the game when players pick it up. The Pokémon Company and Nintendo revealed the Legendary Pokémon early in June, including Solgaleo and Lunala.
Solgaleo is the combination of a lion and the sun. It is called the beast that devours the sun in the world on "Pokémon Sun and Moon, according to VG247."
Solgaleo's ability in "Pokémon Sun and Moon is called Full Metal Body. This means that the Pokémon's stats will not be reduced or affected by an enemy's moves or powers.
Lunala looks like a big bat, with its legs resembling the shape and color of the moon when outstretched. This legendary is believed to be the beast that called the moon.
Lunala has Shadow Shield ability. The ability ensures that whenever this Pokémon has full HP, any attack from an enemy causes less damage. As a result, Lunala is deadly and durable in battle as soon as it gets out of the gate.
Mythical Pokémon are harder to find than legendary Pokémon. Magearna, for instance, is a strange-looking Mythical Pokémon that resembles a doll. This Pokémon is an Artificial Pokémon that was made about 500 years ago.
There is no information on how gamers will obtain Magearna, but it has the Soul Heart ability. Its ability brings about the special attack when the Pokémon is damaged.
Another Mythical Pokémon is the Tapu Koko, which is the Guardian Deity of Melemele Island. While the Pokémon is curious, it is aloof in the sense that it does not always come to the help of those who need it.
Tapu Koko can store electricity in the shells that cover its arms. Its all-new power, Electric Surge, allows it to activate Electric Terrain when in battle.
"Pokémon Sun and Moon" is slated to release on Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18. Preorders are currently available for the games via Amazon. Here is a sneak peek for more information on the upcoming Legendary and Mythical Pokémon:
