Bobbi Kristina has been in the center of news reports for the past days but the victim she has hit in a car crash days before she was found unconscious in a bath tub is said to be in bad shape and remains to be hospitalized as per reports from Hollywood Life.
The victim was identified as Russell Eckerman and according to the statement released by his family via their lawyer, Alan Herman, he is still in serious condition and is unable to speak. The family of Russell does not want to talk to media outlets as they wish for their privacy especially Russell's.
Russell was reportedly driving a Ford Taurus and was on his way to work when the terrible tragedy happened. As for Bobbi, she was driving a Jeep Liberty together with her friend Danyela Da Silva Bradley. Bobbi told police officials that she has blown a tire but was charged with failure to maintain a lane. Danyela was also hospitalized but it was not mentioned if she has recovered from the incident or if she remains to be in the hospital.
Russell is 41 years old and the incident happened on Jan. 27 at around 5 P.M. According to Atlanta Daily World, he nearly died at the scene of the crime as when he was being extricated from his car, he no longer had any pulse in his neck and was unresponsive. Police officials said that he was bleeding from his head, mouth and ears.
Also, the air bag in Russell's car is being seen as one of the factors why the injuries were terrible as it has not deployed at the time of the accident. Bobbi, on the other hand, was left unscathed and she reportedly raced towards Russell's car to check his condition.
This is not the first time that Bobbi was involved in an accident as she had crashed her car into an embankment in November 2012.
