Besides problems with censorship, porn actors and actresses are also at high risk like what happened to Scottine Ross, also known as Brett Rossi, who sued former boyfriend Charlie Sheen in late 2015 for forced abortion and exposing her to HIV.
Other porn stars are also into drugs to make their job easier to stomach, or their pimps or boyfriends are also into the drug business. According to Tokyoreporter, popular Asian porn actress Nozomi Aso was arrested on June 20 by officers from the Kanto Narcotics Control Department after she admitted that illegal substances found in her Tokyo residence were hers.
The 28-year-old Yokohama native was arrested for breaching Japan’s narcotic and psychotropic drug laws. The report, however, did not provide details on what type and volume of drugs were found in her residence.
Nozomi Aso is famous not only in Japan but also in Taiwan because of her physical resemblance to Taiwanese actress Lin Chi-ling and in Hong Kong where she appeared in 2014 in the porn movie “Naked Ambition 3D,” directed by Hong Kong director Lee Kung-lok.
Ironically, the film parodied Japan’s adult video industry where Nozomi Aso rose to fame as the star of SOD Create adult movies. Her porn flicks, numbering around 80, are distributed in the DDM.com site. The Japanese actress is known for her hardcore porn scenes as well as being a centerfold model of Shukan Jitsuwa.
Her arrest adds to the scandal which Japan’s adult video industry is embroiled in after Norihide Murayama, former president of Marks Japan, was charged recently for indecent exposure – along with nine porn actresses, 24 actors and 19 production staff – for shooting an adult movie at a campground in Sagamihara City for two days in late September 2013.
In June, Murayama and the present president of Marks Japan were arrested for allegedly forcing women to act in the porn film that was filmed in the city against their will. The Tokyo Summary Court penalized Murayama with a one million yen fine.
