Niantic Labs and Nintendo is set to launch Pokémon GO internationally for the rest of the world in "a few days" but the release date has not yet been announced.
Pokémon GO has been available in New Zealand, Australia and the United States for quite some time now and the rest of the world has yet to officially download the app from the iTunes or Google Play Store. Others have even resorted to finding Pokémon GO APK files to download in order to access the game but Niantic has blocked off the access making their attempts futile.
Users in Europe and Japan, where ironically Pokémon's roots are located, are still unable to download the app. Niantic and Nintendo are now fixing the problems with the servers in order to resume the international rollout of Pokémon GO to Asia and Europe, Polygon has learned.
It has been almost two weeks when the game officially launched in other countries. Users are now starting to freak out as they resort to downloading Pokémon GO APK files from third-party sites that can fill their phones with malware as researchers have already found.
Meanwhile, the players in the United States are already searching for Pokémon GO cheats, tips and tricks to make their life easier. There are even some who attempt to spoof the GPS location of their phone in order to catch Pokémon miles away from them without even stepping out their room.
Pokémon GO has significantly boosted Nintendo's market value by $9 billion in just a few days after it was rolled out, the Wall Street Journal reported. The launch may have been riddled with more questions than answers but it certainly has made Pokémon GO one of the most popular apps in the history.
There are even rumors that Niantic is already adding more servers just to accommodate the already huge number of players in the US, New Zealand and Australia. Some users have reported that they cannot connect to the servers even if they are inside the aforementioned regions.
Fans will just have to wait for Niantic's official announcement on the Pokémon GO release date for the users in Europe and Asia. It could just be a matter of days before it is officially rolled out.
