The photo also showed the character topless and with blood stains all over his body.

"Here's your S5 poster," he wrote.

Meanwhile, Oliver's photo seems to have been taken from Russia. In the past couple of months, the actor confirmed that this storyline will finally be explored in sealed in season 5.

According to Comic Book, Amell's photo seems to suggest that he will indeed go to the darkest corners of the Russian crime ring before eventually heading back to Star City before becoming the hero that everyone there has grown to love.

In other news, "Arrow" season 5 will also introduce a slew of new characters, namely, Josh Segarra as Vigilante, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Madison McLaughlin as Artemis and Chad L. Coleman as Tobias Church.

Additionally, WWE alum Cody Rhodes will also be playing the role of Stardust, and he expected to give Oliver a run for his life.

"Arrow" season 5 will also reveal new information about Oliver and his friends especially now that Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) is no longer around. A new male actor will also be replacing Paul Blackthorne from his role as the head of the SCPD.

"Arrow" season 5 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. ET.
