As the days are coming closer for the filming of the spin-off of ''Sons of Anarchy,'' fans are getting more curious to know the details. As per the latest updates, the bike gang got together in Houston, TX on May 27 to 29, 2016, and the spin-off is on its way.
The reunion was scheduled to happen at the Space City Comic Con in Houston, TX; however, the mismanagement of the organisers had turned it into a disaster. According to Bleeding Cool, the original star Charlie Hunnam AKA Jackson ''Jax Teller'' was asked to pay the hotel bill in cash as the credit card of the promoter was not working.
"It was a truly insane show. I don't know everything that happened but people definitely were scammed, money seems to have been stolen, celebrities fled, the staff may not have been paid, the cops were called on the cast of Sons Of Anarchy, and a lot more true weirdness and pandemonium at a sparsely attended show in a huge convention hall'' reported a guest who was invited for the Comic con.
The Harley Davidson gang's spin-off might not have the original star cast as the name of the TV series is set to ''The First 9.'' The storyline is set in 1960s and will show the story before SAMCRO (Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original) was formed. Brad Pitt is in talks with Kurt Sutter, the show runner and director for the role of Jax Teller's (Charlie Hunnam) father, John Teller.
Meanwhile, the fans would love to know what is keeping Hunnam busy these days. Guillermo del Toro's successful movie ''Pacific Rim'' which was released in 2013 is getting ready for a sequel. According to Cinema Blend, Hunnam will reprise as Raleigh Becket and the production might start sometime in 2016.
So once the spin-off starts filming, the makers think about bringing back Hunnam once the storyline completes the prequel stage is something to observe. However, since everything is at a nascent stage, nothing can be predicted in a concrete fashion.
Yibada will monitor the progress of the spin-off and publish news for the readers and viewers of the show. Watch this interesting video, in the meanwhile.
