"Sleepy Hollow" alum Nikki Reed recently proved that she is not bothered by the ongoing rumors regarding Nina Dobrev's return to "The Vampire Diaries" season 8.
According to multiple resources, Dobrev will reprise her role as Elena Gilbert in the hit The CW series at the end of season 8.
This somewhat confirms that Dobrev will once again be working with her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder, and the actor is now married to Reed.
On her Instagram account, the former FOX star spent her time with some of her beloved rescued dogs. Instead of worrying about Dobrev's return, Reed is currently focusing on all of the other advocacies she's pursuing, which includes rescuing pets.
"You know you're an animal nut when staying home with your foster babies sounds like more fun than a party on 4th of July! Ha! (Actually let's be honest I'm always happy to stay at home). Have fun! I'll be here putting cream on baby pug butts with snotty snorts and chin licks," she wrote alongside a photo of her pug puppies.
Reed also shared a photo of her two other dogs and related them to one of the advocacies she's currently invested in.
"Good morning! Starting today, I will be donating my social media on Sundays to friends/co-stars/campaign leaders for the #PutAPriceOnIt campaign! They will explain how and why carbon pricing can solve climate change and will answer any questions you might have," she wrote.
Another photo she posted was of a beautiful dog that needs a new foster home.
"Can anyone in the LA area foster this 100 pound girl? Look at that face!!! The rescue that I work for just asked! I would if I could," she wrote.
