Singer-turned actress Becky G (who will be playing the Yellow Ranger) happily announced that the "Power Rangers" cast will be attending this year's Comic Con.
According to Screen Rant, Becky G revealed in a radio interview with Mega 96.3 that fans can catch her at Comic-Con International, which will be held in San Diego, California. She expressed that she is "geeked" to attend Comic Con for the first time. Joining her in the fresh new cast of "Power Rangers" movie is Aussie Dacre Montgomery, who will be playing the captain Red Ranger, R.J. Cycler as the Blue Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, and Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger.
Although they are relatively new names in the movie industry, the new "Power Rangers" cast have been individually working on their credibility as celebrities. Becky G went viral in 2014 because of her single, "Shower," while Dacre has been an active thespian in his local theater group in his hometown in Australia and then proceeded to doing TV projects with "Safe Neighborhood" and "A Few Less Men."
R.J. Cycler, on the other hand, is known for playing the role of the titular Earl, in "Me Earl and the Dying Girl," and Ludi Lin was featured in the 2015 movie "Monster Hunt" as the Wind Magician, while Naomi Scott played the role of Ryoko in the 2015 film "The Martian."
Montgomery has announced via Twitter that he, too, will be coming to Comic-Con with Becky G. He posted a photo of himself after doing a workout, and captioned the photo "See you very soon Comic Con." The tweet was shared by Lionsgate's Twitter handle.

Joining the rookie cast are big stars, such as Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa and former "Breaking Bad" actor Bryan Cranston as the Ranger's alien mentor Zordon. It hasn't been announced yet though if Banks and Cranston will be joining Becky G and Montgomery in this year's Comic Con.
Meanwhile, according to Movie News Guide, a teaser and a trailer of the new "Power Rangers" movie should be expected in Comic Con this year. "Power Rangers" is set to premiere on March 24, 2017.
