The Pokemon Go craze has reached the NBA, and Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson and Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert are the latest from the league to catch the mobile gaming app fever.
Pokemon Go, an augmented reality game inspired by the animation series from the 90s wherein players get to hunt virtual Pokemons by roaming around, has taken the world by storm, including the NBA.
Clarkson, who signed a four-year $50 million deal with the Lakers, was one of the many professional to express excitement in playing Pokemon Go.

Gobert, Jazz's towering French center also got in the Pokemon Go trend. During the Jazz's summer league match earlier this week, Gobert was playing the game developed by Niantic and posted on Twitter a photo of a Pokemon who suddenly appeared in front of Utah's bench. (See Photo)
Teams like the Los Angeles Clippers and the Atlanta Hawks also joined the trendy game. But the Sacramento Kings seem to step-up the notch in line of the world's most addictive mobile gaming app, with the team planning to hold NBA's first Pokemon Go meet-up at the Sleep Train Arena.
"On Friday, July 15, the Sacramento Kings will be opening the doors to Pokémon Go players around the Sacramento region," the report disclosed.
"In an NBA first, participants will be able to traverse nearly the entire arena looking for the rarest of Pokémon characters."
Willie Cauley-Stein, the Kings' young big man, was also one of the many getting hyped for the first NBA sanctioned Pokemon Go event.
With the 2016-2017 regular season still months away, NBA teams and players into the Pokemon Go craze have plenty of time to catch all them Pokemons.
