Pokemon GO cheats, tips & tricks: How to get more candy

Pokemon GO cheats are rife as players are looking for ways to bypass the protocols in the game.

Candy is one of the most important items in the game and players should ensure that they have enough stock for their Pokemons as there is a specific candy for each Pokemon. Candy is used to power up the Pokemon in order for it to level up faster.

The main way to get candy in Pokemon GO is to catch as many Pokemon as possible. Reports stated that it is ok to catch the same Pokemon as this can be exchanged for candy to Professor Willow. To transfer a Pokémon for candy to Professor Willow, follow these steps:

Step 1: Click the Poké Ball in the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Choose "Pokémon."

Step 3: Click on the duplicate Pokémon you would like to transfer. Make sure you select the low-leveled one.

Step 4: Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and hit "Transfer."

Step 5: Select "Yes."

Once transferred, players will get certain amount of species-related candy. Thus, if you exchange a Bulbasaur, you will get candy for Bulbasaur.

Another way to get more candy is to hatch eggs. There are two ways to obtain a Pokemon - catch a Pokemon through a Pokeball and hatch them from Pokemon eggs. All players can get or buy an egg to hatch. However, what Pokemon is inside is a matter of luck.

All players are equipped with an incubator that will help in hatching the egg. Once an egg has been placed in the incubator you will know how many kilometers you need to walk before the egg will hatch. However, you can hop in your car and drive around as the Pokemon GO app uses both the GPS and pedometer.

You can buy additional incubators in Pokemon GO store, or receive them as a reward for leveling up. With the exception of the infinite use incubator you start out with, they have three uses before they break. Having more eggs may prompt you to buy incubators.

Once you have an egg in your possession, follow these steps to hatch it and get candy:

Step 1: Click the Poké Ball in the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Choose "Pokémon."

Step 3: Choose the "Eggs" tab.

Step 4: Select an egg.

Step 5: Choose "Start Incubation."
