It was just in April when the action drama series of CBS, "Scorpion," wrapped up its second season, and since the series was already renewed for a third installment in March, recent reports lead to details that the "Scorpion" Season 3's storylines may center on the lives of its characters.
During an interview with TV Line, the showrunners of the series, Nick Wootton and Nick Santora, revealed some few details about "Scorpion" Season 3.
According to Wootton, Happy (Jadyn Wong) is ready to move on in "Scorpion" Season 3 after exposing that she has been married to another guy, which is why she turned down the proposal of Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas). The executive producer added that this will be the starting point of "Scorpion" Season 3. Wootton also said that all questions of why Happy decided to marry another person, instead of Toby, will be fully revealed.
In addition, Santora revealed that Toby and Happy's unfortunate break-up is not going to affect "Scorpion's" fun and exciting appeal to the viewers. He reiterated that the series have always been a fun show, and that it has to stay fun and engaging.
The same publication also noted the statement of Santora relating to the backstories of the characters. Santora said that it would be a good idea to unfold the stories of the characters or what they were doing during their early days before becoming a member of the Scorpion team. Santora added that he already did this during the first season of "Prison Break," which he co-produced. However, Santora emphasized that the timing of telling the backstories in "Scorpion" Season 3 is the tricky part.
On the other hand, reports are loud that "Scorpion" Season 3 is going to have a 2-hour premiere, Vine Report has learned. According to the same report, Walter (Elyes Gabel) will finally make his move to capture the heart of Paige (Katherine McPhee). It is said that during the previous seasons, Walter and Paige had their moments, but chose to be professional instead of pursuing their intimate feelings to one another.
