Fallout 4 players on PlayStation 4 will be disappointed to know that Bethesda is delaying the mod support as there are still issues plus the Nuka World DLC locations have been revealed.
One of the highlights of the open-world RPG game is Fallout 4 mods and the modding community for the PC and Xbox One has flourished since the introduction of Bethesda's official support. Users can now wield lightsabers, dress up as Deadpool, make the graphics more realistic, introduce new clothes and more.
Unfortunately, Bethesda has delayed the mod support for Sony's console. Bethesda said that the Fallout 4 mods for PlayStation 4 users is being delayed and there is no estimated time of arrival for when it will be resolved, Express.co.uk has learned.
The Fallout 4 1.5.4 update was designed to bring the mod support for PS4 players but there were several issues that kept it from officially rolling out. There were issues with the soundfiles and the texture file sizes which required the help from Sony themselves to resolve but there are no updates yet as to where they are on fixing the problems.
In addition, there were also issues with stolen mods from the PC that are being ported to the Xbox One without the permission of the mod creator. It posed a problem for the modding community but was resolved by Bethesda after they required modders to link their Steam accounts for verification.
Some players were also able to identify some of the locations that will be found in the Fallout 4 Nuka World DLC through the Creation Kit, GamingBolt reported. Some of them include the Safari Zone, Wild West, Galactic Zone and Kiddy Kingdom.
There are still some that were left unidentified but the mentioned names could also give clues as to what players can expect. Bethesda said that there are also new creatures and weapons included in Nuka World which has been confirmed as the last DLC for Fallout 4.
Fallout 4 Nuka World is expected to release in August and the alleged release date is August 31 based on an earlier report claiming the date was seen in the mobile Steam app. The PlayStation 4 Fallout 4 mods update release date has not yet been announced.
