XFX Radeon RX 480 partner AIB card features 4 copper pipes, 2 fans

AMD has recently released the reference Radeon RX 480 card and the partner cards are slowly popping up as the XFX Radeon RX 480 card has been spotted with a better-looking cooler.

The AMD Radeon RX 480 has seen its share of problems as users reported power draw issues. Fortunately, the company quickly fixed the problem by releasing new Crimson drivers and RX 480 users now can rest easy.

Those who are looking to buy their new video card are now confused as to which card between the RX 480 and the new GTX 1060 they will choose. Hopefully, the new XFX Radeon RX 480 photos would help make up their minds.

Quasarzone spotted the XFX Radeon RX 480 which features a single 8-pin PCIE connector and a factory overclocked GPU, TweakTown has learned. It also rocks the XFX LED logo but it is not known whether it will be RGB or just beam out plain white light.

Custom partner AIB cards are often faster than their reference counterparts and the new XFX Radeon RX 480 will be no different. Although the official specs have not yet been revealed, it is known that it will contain a factory overclocked Polaris 10 GPU which mean that it will have more power than the reference cards from AMD.

The XFX Radeon RX 480 has two large fans and four massive copper pipes for its cooling solution, WCCFTech reported. Of course, the card is a better fit for those who have large case set-ups compared to smaller ones that may just end up in the RX 480 spreading more heat inside.

Benchmarks of the XFX Radeon RX 480 have not yet been revealed but people should expect them to surface soon. It has been several weeks after the reference Radeon RX 480 cards have been released and it may be time for the partner cards to be launched as well.

Some users may prefer to buy the GTX 1060 from NVIDIA instead as it has been shown that the Pascal GPU trumps the Polaris 10 in most situations. The XFX Radeon RX 480 may be the answer as it would have faster performance overall.
